“If I knew how to take a good photograph, I’d do it every time.” – Robert Doisneau

So you decided to splurge on one of those fancy cameras you have been eyeing up in the shop for a few months now. Or perhaps you took the one you already had out of the cupboard and dusted it off. Either way, you have realised that there are more buttons and options on your camera than you ever thought possible and you are ready to learn what they all do and how to use them to create amazing photos. Then the PhotographySchool.NL Beginner’s Photography Course is for you.

We wish we could tell you: “set your camera to these settings and all your photos will be perfect.”

We wish we could give you a crash course in photography and everything would sink in instantaneously.

Unfortunately that’s not how photography works. That’s not how learning photography works. But we think you know that.

We can tell you that it is possible to master all those buttons and dials on your camera.

That you can be out exploring the Netherlands and photographing your experiences while adjusting the camera settings to ensure you create a photograph that matches what you had envisioned in your head.

And you don’t need lots of fancy equipment or thousands of hours to figure it all out.

There are enjoyable, creative resources, tools and proven ideas to make your photography journey a pleasant and exciting one.

That’s what this course does.
